Clarinet Repair

Alberto Grossi Woodwinds offers high quality repairs for all clarinets. All work is guaranteed for thirty days, and overhauls are guaranteed for ninety days. Prices vary depending on instrument model and extent of repairs needed. Please call for an estimate or to schedule an appointment.

• Crack repair for wooden instruments (filling and/or pinning cracks)
• Tone hole replacement
• Pad replacement

• Pivot screw or key rod replacement
• Release of frozen rod or key
• Straighten bent rod or key
• Refit mechanism

• Barrel shortening
• Full Adjustment--Recommended annually
• Complete Service--Recommended biannually (Includes complete disassembly of the instrument, cleaning of all keys and rods, cleaning and oiling of the wood, oiling and adjustment of mechanism. Call for an estimate.)
• Overhaul (Includes cleaning and polishing keys, cleaning and oiling clarinet body and tone holes, adjusting or replacing any bad springs, refitting keys to the instrument, refacing toneholes if needed, replacing all pads, tenon corks and key corks, oiling and adjusting mechanism.
